HOHOHO… what an unforgettable day!
The long-awaited Christmas training session for our para-karatekas took place at The Niji Yama G-Warriors, and we can proudly say that it was an absolutely fantastic day, filled with sport, fun, camaraderie, and lots of warmth.
Our para-karatekas trained intensively, but laughed just as much. There were warm moments – literally and figuratively – with delicious waffles, steaming hot chocolate, and mulled wine, but above all with heartwarming friendship and the strong family bond that makes our Para-Budo operation so unique. It was wonderful to see all those happy faces and feel how our group forms one close-knit family.
International guest from Latvia
A special highlight of the day was the visit of a special guest who came all the way from Latvia to get acquainted with our Para-Budo program.
Shihan Mareks Lavrinovics not only brought his expertise and enthusiasm, but also provided some fun and adapted exercises especially for our para-karatekas. As the icing on the cake, he had a gift for everyone, which was clearly very well received. The smiles and enthusiasm spoke volumes.
We look forward with great enthusiasm and confidence to further and fruitful cooperation with our Para-Budo family from Latvia.
Stronger together with friends
It was also wonderful to be able to achieve this together with our friends from Leopoldsburg and Kaido Dojo. Training, laughing, and enjoying ourselves together makes these moments even more valuable. It is always a warm reunion that strengthens our bonds and confirms what budo really stands for: respect, friendship, and growing together.
Visit from Santa Claus
As if that weren't enough, we also had a visit from none other than... Santa Claus himself! 🎅
He was so real that he was hardly distinguishable from the “real” one, and clearly someone born for this role. With his warm presence and gifts, he made the party complete.
See you next year!
It was a day full of incredibly happy faces, hearts filled with love, and memories that we will cherish forever.
One thing is certain: a new tradition has been born.
