We participated with our para-karatekas in the BGKA tournament in Balen, Belgium, a beautifully organized mixed tournament of Goju Ryu and Para-Budo.
From the moment we arrived, we were given a very warm and heartfelt welcome, which immediately set the tone for an unforgettable day.
Our para-karatekas once again demonstrated what true fighting spirit, perseverance, and enjoyment mean. With big smiles, total commitment, and visible enthusiasm, each and every one of them put their best foot forward. They shone on the mat and proved once again that growth, self-confidence, and togetherness are central to our work.
What made this tournament so special was the open, inclusive, and accessible atmosphere. No stress, no pressure to perform, but an environment where everyone could be themselves and had the opportunity to show themselves at their own pace. Here, everyone is equal, everyone feels welcome, and success is not only measured in points or medals, but above all in experience, fun, and togetherness.
In the BGKA family, everyone is a winner. No one went home empty-handed and, above all, everyone went home with a warm heart, a big smile, and fond memories.
Thank you to the BGKA for this wonderful experience.
This is karate and budo at its best.
